Tradewind Aviation Expands Operations at Hudson Valley

Tradewind Aviation, the aircraft charter, aircraft management provider and private regional airline will expand its existing presence at Hudson Valley Regional Airport, New York.

Tradewind Aviation will open a new 50,000 sq ft hangar facility at the airport in Q2 2023, alongside two acres of ramp space. As well as serving its Hudson Valley customers, the new facility will also provide maintenance and operational support for its facilities at Westchester County Airport, New York and Waterbury-Oxford Airport, Connecticut.

“We are pleased to be expanding with a new hangar and are looking forward to taking advantage of the services and convenience of Hudson Valley Regional airport”, said Eric Zipkin, Co-Founder and CEO, Tradewind Aviation.

The expansion comes as Tradewind Aviation continues to expand its Pilatus PC-12 fleet. The Connecticut-based company took delivery of the first of 20 PC-23 NGX aircraft earlier in 2023, with the second expected to be delivered in March. The remaining aircraft will be delivered at a rate of at least four aircraft per year over the next five years.

Tradewind Aviation’s current fleet currently comprises 19 PC-12s and three Cessna Citation CJ3s.
