Asia-Pacific Civil Helicopter Fleet Growth: There were 4,167 civil turbine helicopters operating in the Asia-Pacific region at the end of 2025, representing a modest net increase of just 30 units compared to the end of 2024.
Market Trends: In 2025, the helicopter fleet in the Asia-Pacific region increased by 30 helicopters, reflecting a minor growth rate of 0.7%. In 2025, 93 new helicopters and 99 pre-owned helicopters entered the region, while 162 helicopters exited.
Operator Overview: At the end of 2025, there were a total of 50 commercial helicopter operators in the Asia-Pacific region. Mainland China’s largest Offshore operator, COHC, maintained its leading position in 2025 in the offshore market.
OEM Overview: Airbus Helicopters remained the largest OEM in the region, with 1,746 helicopters in operation, accounting for 41.9% of the Asia-Pacific fleet. Bell followed with 1,137 helicopters (27.3%), while Leonardo ranked third with 502 helicopters (12.0%). Airbus also led new deliveries in 2025 with 52 aircraft, representing 55.9% of total new deliveries to the region.
