Singapore Airshow 2026 Concludes 10th Edition With A Record 125,000 Attendees

The Singapore Airshow 2026, held from 3 to 8 February, 2026 at the Changi Exhibition Centre in Singapore, successfully wrapped up its milestone 10th edition, attracting a total of 125,000 attendees over the course of the six day event. The biennial airshow saw 65,000 trade visitors from more than 130 countries during its dedicated business days, with an additional 60,000 members of the public visiting to see the weekend displays. Leck Chet Lam, Managing Director, Experia Events, organiser of the Singapore Airshow, noted that the airshow continues to solidify its status as the premier aerospace and defence gathering in the Asia-Pacific region. In comparison, the 2024 edition of the airshow welcomed nearly 110,000 visitors in total.

“Achieving record trade attendance at our 10th edition reflects the strength and resilience of the aerospace and defence sector,” said Leck. “This edition not only marks a major milestone for Singapore Airshow but also highlights the sector’s vitality, with our trade visitors engaging in dynamic discussions, sharing insights and exploring new collaborations across aviation and defence.”

The airshow featured an extensive exhibition hall with more than 800 exhibitors showcasing their latest products and technologies. Major aerospace companies and defence manufacturers presented innovative new aerospace solutions, including electric aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and sustainable aviation solutions aimed at reducing environmental impact. On the ground, visitors explored more than 30 aircraft in the airshow’s static display ranging from military fighters to commercial jets.

In addition to the exhibition, the airshow’s AeroForum saw 1,000 delegates listen to more than 50 speakers across 15 sessions. The AeroForum featured in-depth discussions on a range of critical topics, including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, sustainable aviation, and advanced air mobility, alongside presentations on the civil aviation market’s outlook and both regional and global defence trends.

A focal point of discussion was the advancement of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles. Jersey Wu, Director of Avion Pacific, presented research findings and discussed how advanced air mobility is evolving from concept to practical implementation in civil, defence, and commercial sectors. According to the Asia-Pacific Advanced Air Mobility Report 2025, more than 1,140 eVTOL design concepts had been proposed globally by September 2025. Mainland China is among the few countries that have incorporated eVTOLs into official government reports and currently boasts more than 70 companies involved in this sector, including those developing unmanned models. In the AsiaPacific region, mainland China serves as the primary hub for manned eVTOL manufacturing, with Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia also playing significant roles.

“eVTOL’s are a great platform for AAM, but we need to improve areas like infrastructure, regulation and operational cost before it can be commercially ready,” stated Wu during his presentation.

Other notable sessions included a deep dive into how the aviation sector is advancing towards a lowercarbon future, examining how growing connectivity; how AI-enabled systems and complex supply chains are reshaping cybersecurity risks in aviation, as well as leaders sharing perspectives on the trends and technologies shaping the future of aerospace.

The 2026 Singapore Airshow not only celebrated its achievements but also set the stage for the future of aerospace and defence, highlighting the importance of collaboration and technological advancement in navigating the industry’s evolving landscape. The next edition is set for February 2028.
