Two years after Sino Jet signed for 100 Aerofugia AE200 eVTOLs, the company has ordered another 50 of the five-passenger model. The deal, announced at Aero Asia show in Zhuhai, marks the first phase of Sino Jet’s “business aviation + eVTOL” strategy, which seeks to merge high and low altitude mobility operations. Sino Jet’s current fleet includes Gulfstream, Dassault, Bombardier, Embraer, Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Plans call for integrating the company’s certified safety protocols— continuous airworthiness monitoring, safety management system implementation, and staff training—into AE200 operations, with a goal of surpassing standard China eVTOL safety requirements. Li Yuanfeng, President, Sino Jet said “the partnership extends beyond aircraft acquisition, emphasizing long-haul excellence with short-haul connectivity.”
