The Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV) has certified ExecuJet Haite Aviation Services for line and heavy maintenance on Vietnam-registered Dassault, Embraer, and Gulfstream business jets. The certification applies to ExecuJet Haite’s advanced facilities at Tianjin Airport and Beijing Airport, enhancing its reputation as a leading MRO provider in the region.
The certification covers Dassault Falcon 7X and 8X, Gulfstream G650ER, and Embraer Legacy aircraft, and the company is also authorized to perform inspections and maintenance on engines.
As an authorized service center for Dassault and Embraer, and an authorized warranty facility for Gulfstream, ExecuJet Haite offers streamlined services for Vietnamese operators. Paul Desgrosseilliers, General Manager, ExecuJet Haite emphasizes that this certification underscores their commitment to quality and positions them as a prime maintenance partner for Vietnam’s growing business aviation sector.
MRO Japan has completed its first heavy maintenance operation on an EASA-registered Airbus ACJ318 Elite, marking a significant achievement for both the company and Japan’s aircraft maintenance industry. This milestone is notable as it’s the first heavy maintenance performed under EASA regulations for a foreign-registered aircraft in Japan.
MRO Japan can conduct maintenance on Airbus A318, A319, A320, and A321 aircraft to European standards. This certification enables the company to expand its services to both domestic and international operators. “As the only EASA Part-145 approved MRO in Japan for commercial aircraft, I believe this successful first heavy maintenance marks a major step toward expanding our business globally,” says Koji Oku, Senior Director, MRO Japan.
The Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC) announced the completion of its new terminal, marking the first phase of its expansion project. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to offer an exclusive and luxurious travel experience, featuring Asia’s first 26-meter Sky Canopy, enhanced customs and immigration services, and VVIP suites. HKBAC is also the first lounge to receive certification from CrescentRating for being Muslim-friendly, emphasizing its commitment to diverse travel needs.
The terminal opening included notable guests from the aviation and business sectors. Fred Lam, Chairman, Airport Authority, emphasized the timely expansion coinciding with the new Three-Runway System, which will significantly boost business aviation’s capacity and development.

Sojitz Corporation, a leading Japanese trading company, has ordered two Bombardier aircraft: the Global 6500 and the Global 8000. These aircraft will support Sojitz’s new Share Jet Program (SJP), Japan’s first shared ownership initiative for large business jets capable of trans-Pacific flights.
The Global 8000, set to enter service by year-end, is the fastest business jet globally and offers the longest range among four-zone aircraft. Sojitz’s choice reflects its positive experience with Bombardier’s reliable aircraft and exceptional customer support. The new jets will feature bespoke interiors designed to meet high standards, showcasing Bombardier’s craftsmanship and delivering superior aviation experiences, connecting cities across Japan and Asia.
Sino Jet has acquired its 30th overseas-registered business jet, expanding its total managed fleet to nearly 50 aircraft, with 65% now registered abroad. The milestone reinforces its position as the leading business jet operator in Asia-Pacific and highlights the strength of Chinese enterprises in global aviation.
The addition of the Bombardier Global 7500, registered in the Cayman Islands, marks a new phase in Sino Jet’s expansion. The company has maintained the IS-BAO Stage 3 certification since 2018, demonstrating its commitment to safety.
Leveraging dual operating certificates from the CAAC and CAA Cayman, with bases in more than ten Chinese cities and major international hubs in Singapore, Dubai, Japan, Europe and the Americas.
Metrojet Engineering Clark (MEC) has announced the successful completion of its first Starlink installation on a Gulfstream G450 aircraft. This achievement marks a major milestone since MEC’s appointment as the first authorized Starlink dealer in Southeast Asia.
The installation showcases MEC’s technical expertise and readiness to provide next-generation in-flight connectivity. Following this achievement, MEC has received and confirmed additional requests for installations, further reinforcing client trust in the MRO’s ability to deliver high-quality solutions.

In the first half of 2025, the Asia-Pacific region saw a 26% year-on-year increase in Program subscription memberships.
