Bombardier to Double Singapore Footprint with New $78M Facility

Bombardier is expanding its presence in Singapore with a new 250,000 square feet facility at JTC’s Seletar Aerospace Park with an investment of approximately USD 77.7M.

Construction starts in the second half of 2026, with operations targeted for H2 2028. The site will offer maintenance, avionics installations, aircraft-on-ground (AOG) support, a Component Repair and Overhaul (CR&O) workshop, recompletion services and customer amenities. This is Bombardier’s third development in Singapore since 2014.

“Our Singapore Service Centre has long been a cornerstone of service and support excellence in Asia-Pacific, supporting approximately 2,000 aircraft annually as regional demand continues to grow,” said Paul Sislian, Executive Vice President, Aircraft Sales and Bombardier Aftermarket Services.

Metrojet Expands Managed Fleet with Bombardier Global 8000

Hong Kong’s Metrojet has added a Bombardier Global 8000 aircraft to its managed fleet; the company says it is the first of the type to be based in Asia.

Dave Yip, CEO of Metrojet, called the addition a “defining moment”.

“The arrival of the Global 8000 demonstrates our ability to deliver world-class management solutions for the most sophisticated aircraft in the industry,” Yip said. “We are already seeing growing interest from other Bombardier owners, and with our established Bombardier maintenance capabilities, we are confident in providing them with the same excellence and assurance that has long defined Metrojet.”

The Global 8000 offers a top speed of Mach 0.95, and a maximum range of 8,000 nm, and typically cruises at Mach 0.85.

Gulfstream G500 and G600 Fleet Surpasses 400 Customer Deliveries

Gulfstream Aerospace announced on July 20, 2026, its 400th customer delivery of its award-winning Gulfstream G500 and G600 fleet.

This milestone follows more than 519,000 flight hours and 200,000 landings accumulated by the two-aircraft program since entering service. 

“Reaching 400 deliveries is a testament to the confidence customers around the world continue to place in Gulfstream and in the G500 and G600,” said Mark Burns, President of Gulfstream. “Together, these aircraft have fuelled sustained demand for our next-generation fleet and play a pivotal role in Gulfstream’s vision to offer an aircraft for every mission.”

ACJ TwoTwenty Lands Its First Delivery, Marks Asia-Pacific Debut

Airbus Corporate Jets has delivered its first ACJ TwoTwenty in the Asia-Pacific region, marking the fourth entry into service of the type worldwide.

The aircraft, delivered to an unnamed large corporation, is also the first ACJ TwoTwenty to be completed under a turnkey contract, with interior outfitting handled by Comlux. Jet Aviation will manage and maintain the aircraft in service, with support from its Singapore facility, which joined the ACJ Service Centre Network in March 2025.

The first three ACJ TwoTwenty deliveries worldwide went to Middle East customers between 2023 and 2025. The company said two more Asian customers, numbered five and six in the delivery sequence, are expected to take their aircraft in 2026 and 2027, respectively.

Vista Global Expands Greater China Footprint with 32% Annual Traffic Growth

Vista introduced its new flagship, the Bombardier Global 8000, to media and key stakeholders via an exclusive tour across Hong Kong and Shanghai.

The itinerary highlights routes vital as Greater China enters a new growth phase. Hong Kong remains the third-ranked global financial hub and first in Asia-Pacific, while Shanghai has risen to sixth globally and third in Asia-Pacific on the Global Financial Centres Index. Both cities are major Vista destinations by traffic volume, reinforcing their importance to the tour.

The launch underscores Vista’s long-term commitment, backed by 32% annual flight traffic growth in Greater China (2024–2025) and 25% growth across Asia-Pacific.

Sino Jet’s Fleet Size Ranks No. 1 in the Asia-Pacific for Seven Consecutive Years

Sino Jet topped the Asia-Pacific business jet operator rankings for the seventh straight year, operating a fleet of 43 aircraft, according to Asian Sky Group’s 2025 Fleet report. The Hong Kong-based company is the only Chinese operator in the top five to record positive fleet growth, with more than 65% of its aircraft registered overseas by the end of 2025.

The firm holds dual Air Operator Certificates from mainland China’s CAAC and the Cayman Islands Civil Aviation Authority, and it also has maintenance authorizations in major global jurisdictions, including the United States, Europe, and Bermuda. It operates from bases in more than 20 cities worldwide, covering over 200 countries and 1,000 airports.

Bombardier and Rolls-Royce Launch Enhanced Health Monitoring for Global 5500 and 6500

Bombardier and Rolls-Royce have merged their aircraft and engine monitoring capabilities into a single integrated health monitoring program for Global 5500 and 6500 operators.

The solution combines Bombardier’s Smart Link Plus aircraft health monitoring unit with Rolls-Royce’s new engine vibration and health monitoring unit (EVHMU) for the Pearl 15 engine. Together, it provides operators and maintenance teams access to around 10,000 engine performance parameters, alongside additional aircraft-level data.

The system is now factory-fitted on all new production Global 5500 and Global 6500 aircraft.

Rolls-Royce’s EVHMU automatically sends engine data during and after every flight to the company’s 24/7 Business Aviation Aircraft Availability Centre.

Gogo Galileo Approved for Installation on Dassault Falcon 7X and 8X

Gogo announced that its high-performance connectivity system, Gogo Galileo, can now be installed on the Dassault Falcon 7X and 8X.

Dassault Falcon Jet MRO has received Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) from both the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the Gogo Galileo HDX antenna. “Connectivity has become a core element of the Falcon customer experience, particularly on long-range missions,” said Frederic Cadiou, Sales Support Director, Dassault MRO.

The Gogo Galileo system is powered by the Eutelsat OneWeb enterprise-grade low earth orbit (LEO) network, delivering reliable connectivity worldwide. The HDX electronically steered antenna offers compact, lightweight, low-power performance with speeds up to 60 Mbps.
