Flexjet Acquires Constant Aviation

Flexjet, the fractional private jet provider, has acquired Constant Aviation – the Cleveland, Ohio-based maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider.

Flexjet grew its fleet by 40% in 2022, and as such has seen an increased demand for maintenance services. The acquisition of Constant Aviation allows Flexjet to increase its airframe, engine and avionics maintenance capabilities, aircraft painting, interior modification and refurbishment capabilities, as well as avionics installations, heavy maintenance and engine overhaul works.

As part of the transaction, Flexjet will acquire Constant Aviation’s facilities at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Orlando Sanford International Airport, taking Flexjet’s current total maintenance facility footprint to 650,000 sq ft, across five states. Flexjet plans to expand the facility in Orlando to a total of 220,000 sq ft in order to capture the increasing maintenance demand at the airport.

Flexjet will also benefit from Constant Aviation’s Aircraft on Ground (AOG) mobile response network, which has teams from 28 locations across the U.S., with the capacity to serve the entire continental U.S. and Caribbean markets.

“Integrating Constant Aviation into Flexjet is part of an overriding strategic vision to differentiate Flexjet among its competitors at the most fundamental level”, said Jay Heublein, Senior Vice President of Maintenance, Flexjet.
