Ducommun to Acquire BLR Aerospace

Ducommun has announced that it has entered into a definitive securities purchase agreement to acquire BLR Aerospace – an aerodynamics systems provider that aims to enhance productivity, performance and safety of fixed-wing and rotary aircraft in both commercial and military capacities.

BLR’s product offering includes the FastFin tail rotor stability system for Airbus and Bell helicopters, as well as quiet propellers and winglets for fixed-wing aircraft.

The acquisition is subject to closing conditions and regulatory approval but is expected to be completed in Q2 2023. The acquisition will be financed by Ducommun’s existing revolving credit facility.
