Swiss aircraft manufacturer Pilatus has taken over Skytech and its entire workforce of about 120, as it looks to expand its direct involvement in the US market.
“The US market is very important for us. It is essential that Pilatus continues to expand its ‘footprint’,” said Markus Bucher, CEO, Pilatus.
Skytech is a specialist service provider and aircraft vendor in the US state of Maryland and South Carolina.
After the acquisition, Skytech will continue to provide services and sell PC-24s and PC-12s as well as other aircraft types, so that Pilatus can further improve the continuity and quality of its customer services on the East Coast.
