Atlantic Aviation Expands US Facilities in Massachusetts and Arizona

Atlantic Aviation is expanding its presence at Laurence G. Hanscom Field, Bedford, Massachusetts and Scottsdale Airport, Scottsdale, Arizona.

In Bedford, the FBO operator has begun an expansion project which includes three acres of new ramp space, three 20,000 sq ft hangars with 28-foot doors, 12,000 sq ft of office and maintenance space, the addition of a third 20,000 gallon Jet A fuel tank, as well as improvements to the existing terminal. Completion of this expansion is planned for Q4 2023.

At Atlantic Aviation’s Scottsdale FBO, the company has completed work on a new hangar and office building complex, which includes a 56,000 sq ft hangar, two 3,000 sq ft office buildings which are already fully occupied, as well as a new covered parking area. Atlantic Aviation’s operation area at Scottsdale Airport now spans over 8.3 acres and 143,000 sq ft of hangar space, making it the largest FBO at the airport. Further plans are being made in order to construct a new executive terminal alongside additional hangar space in the coming years.

The new hangars at Atlantic Aviation’s Bedford location will be LEED Silver Certified, and the new facilities in both Bedford and Scottsdale feature various sustainability initiatives, including electric and hybrid ramp and crew vehicles, customer parking with EV charging stations, and the availability of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) through Atlantic’s SAF marketplace.
