Opener Aero announced that Ken Karklin is its new Chief Executive Officer. He will assume day-to-day leadership and join the Board of Directors.
Marcus Leng, Opener’s founder, has stepped down from his previous role as Chief Executive Officer.
Karklin previously worked for AeroVironment, Touchdown Technologies, and Agilent Technologies.
According to Leng, “Ken brings a breadth of cross functional leadership competencies to Opener that are exceptionally aligned with our forthcoming transition to customer shipments and revenue production of the BlackFly Personal Air Vehicle. The Board and I are confident that Ken is the right person to build on this momentum.”
Wisk Aero recently appointed Tyler Painter as its new Chief Financial Officer.
