Honda Aircraft Introduces Phased Maintenance Program

Honda Aircraft has announced a new flexible phased maintenance program that aims to optimize maintenance events for increased operational flexibility.

The program has been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and will be available to customers from April this year at all HondaJet authorized service centers in the U.S. The new program is available for all HondaJet HA-420 models, including the Elite, Elite S and Elite II variants.

“We are very pleased to offer our new Flexible Phased Maintenance Program to our growing base of customers,” said Amod Kelkar, Head of the Commercial Business Unit and Vice President of Customer Service, Honda Aircraft. “High utilization customers require a higher degree of flexibility in maintenance planning, and this evolution of HondaJet’s scheduled maintenance program demonstrates our commitment to continually enhance the HondaJet ownership experience.”

The flexible phased maintenance program will divide the 600-hour and 1,200-hour major inspection event tasks into four phases at 150-hour intervals, whilst still covering all service tasks normally performed in the regularly scheduled maintenance program.
