U.S. medical transport provider Global Medical Response has signed a purchase agreement with Bell, a subsidiary of Textron, for three additional Bell 407GXi aircraft. The delivery is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
The aircraft, which will join Global Medical Response’s emergency medical helicopter fleet, is equipped with Garmin’s G1000H NXi Integrated Flight Deck, with high-definition imagery and faster processors.
“As we grow our fleet to better serve our communities, these Bell 407GXi aircraft will better enable our emergency medical responders to reach those who need care at a moment’s notice,” said Ted Van Horne, Chief Operating Officer, Global Medical Response.
Bell 407GXi is a multi-role utility aircraft developed as an upgraded version of the Bell 407GXP helicopter.
