FAA Certifies Metrojet Engineering Clark for Global 7500 Work

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has certified Metrojet’s Philippine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) station Metrojet Engineering Clark to work on the airframe, aircraft batteries and wheel assemblies on Bombardier’s Global 7500.

With this latest FAA approval, Metrojet Engineering Clark can now perform maintenance work up to the 24-month check after obtaining wheel assembly capability in June 2022.

“We are seeing more and more Bombardier Global 7500 deliveries in the APAC region and MEC will continue to invest in the Global 7500 product line and offer our customers the highest quality maintenance and parking services,” said Sarith Vaikuntan, General Manager, Metrojet Engineering Clark.

Metrojet Engineering Clark welcomed its first Global 7500 in November 2021, and has so far accepted five aircraft in its facility that can accommodate up to ten long-range business jets, including Boeing Business Jets, and Airbus Corporate Jets.

Metrojet Limited is a Hong Kong-based business jet operator that provides both air and ground-based business aviation services, including aircraft management, maintenance, and consulting services. The company expanded its footprint into the Philippines in 2012 by setting up Metrojet Engineering Clark.
