Honda Offers Upgrade Package for HondaJet Elite

Honda Aircraft Company has announced a new upgrade package for the HondaJet Elite, providing aircraft owners with the latest performance and avionics software upgrades.

The upgrade on its twin-engine light business jets will increase the maximum takeoff weight by 200 pounds and bring the flying range up by a further 120 nautical miles with a higher payload.

The package presented by the Advanced Performance Modification Group will be available later in 2022, initially in the US.

Other avionics software upgrades include the installation of FAA Datacom and Aircraft Communication Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) to improve the clarity and efficiency of communications. It also includes the newly-introduced Advanced Steering Augmentation System.

“This upgrade package is another testament of our continued efforts in Customer Service to provide upgrade options to our ever-growing fleet. We remain committed to setting a new standard in business aviation by advancing innovative design and engineering solutions to our existing customer base,” said Amod Kelkar, Head of Commercial Business Unit and VP of Customer Service, Honda Aircraft Company.

As an aircraft manufacturer headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, the company was formed in 2006 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda Motor that manufactures the HondaJet family of aircraft.
