Flexjet, the fractional jet provider, will be opening three private terminals in 2023 at Opa Locka Executive Airport (Florida), Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (Montana) and Scottsdale Airport (Arizona).
Flexjet’s Opa-Locka Executive Airport terminal in Miami will be the first of the new terminals to open, and will feature amenities such as fully stocked bar and café stations, high-speed Wi-Fi access, conference rooms and dedicated concierges.
The terminal will also serve as the seasonal hub for Flexjet’s South Florida helicopter service, providing last-mile transportation to customers’ final South Florida destinations using Sikorsky S-76 super mid-sized helicopters.
“More people than ever are electing to travel by private aircraft. Expanding our private terminals in top locations ensures a more intimate experience for our owners,” said Megan Wolf, Chief Experience Officer, Flexjet. “This increase in traffic means the large general aviation Fixed Based Operators in popular departure and arrival points are more hectic than in the past. Flexjet’s (aircraft share) Owners-only lounges offer comfort and amenities to ease the transition from the jet to your final destination.”
Flexjet currently has private terminals at Naples Airport (Florida), Teterboro Airport (New York), Westchester County Airport (New York), Dallas Love Field (Texas) and Van Nuys Airport (California).
