Bombardier has enhanced its service in the Asia-Pacific region by opening a new service center in at Essendon Fields Airport in Melbourne, Australia.
The new OEM-operated Melbourne Service Centre of some 50,000 square feet, will bring 65 new jobs to the community.
The company said the newly opened service center will become a key focal point for customers in the region and for future growth prospects of the Bombardier fleet.
“The addition of the Melbourne Service Centre is the latest in a series of worldwide infrastructure investments aimed at enhancing Bombardier’s customer service capacity in line with our 2025 plan,” said Éric Martel, President and CEO, Bombardier.
Bombardier opened its expanded Singapore Service Centre earlier this year. The company, now with more than 80 aircraft operating in Australia, is the largest provider of business jets in the country.
