Africa-based Bestfly Rejigs Company Structure

Bestfly has appointed Sameer Adam and Stephan Krainer as new Executive Board Directors to build on the company’s continued growth.

The change in its board and leadership structure came as the Africa-based company diversified its business from a ground handling company, according to Nuno Pereira, Chairman & Group CEO, Bestfly.

“In 2009, Bestfly started as a ground handling company in Angola and has since grown into a global aviation group with operations by end of 2023 out of Aruba, Portugal, Cape Verde, Austria, UAE, Congo, Guyana, and Senegal. We have built a solid foundation with a diversified business in the VIP executive aircraft, commercial aircraft, oil & gas support, and ground support segments,” said Pereira.

Adam will oversee all aspects of fleet strategy, business development, and aircraft financing for business aircraft, commercial aircraft, and helicopter operations. On the other side, Krainer will continue providing Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) and maintenance services as the CEO of Primus Aero.

Bestfly has five board directors including Chairperson Nuno Pereira, Vice Chairperson Alcinda Pereira, Helder Rosa, Nuno Sandao, and Americo Borges. The company in Angola, southern Africa, currently has a diverse fleet of business jets and helicopters from Bombardier, Falcon, Gulfstream, Hawker and Textron Aviation, Leonardo, and Bell.
