Textron Aviation has added a convertible full-flight simulator at FlightSafety International’s Farnborough, England Learning Center.
The simulator for Cessna Citation CJ3+ or Cessna Citation M2 Gen2 is manufactured by TRU Simulation + Training, a Textron Inc. company for aviation training, and will be available at the learning center starting January 2025.
The new simulator offered to the aviation training company will expand Textron’s support for business jets in Europe.
“We are pleased to share this new training option for customers in Europe who trust Cessna Citations to fulfill their missions,” said Duncan Van De Velde, the Vice President of Sales in Europe.
Brian Moore, CEO and Director of Operations at FlightSafety Textron Aviation Training, emphasized the significance of this expansion, saying, “Our partnership with Textron Aviation and TRU will provide a high-fidelity training device and enable us to deliver a high-quality training experience to our mutual customers.”
The simulator is equipped with the latest Garmin G3000 avionics and incorporates real aircraft parts in the cockpit for an accurate representation of the aircraft. TRU Simulation + Training’s design includes a third-generation control loading system that ensures a highly realistic flight experience.
Furthermore, the simulator offers an immersive training environment with a large array of high-resolution airfield models and high-definition projectors.
