Boeing says it has taken in four orders for its BBJ MAX series of business jets so far in 2022.
The manufacturer did not break down the orders into individual types, saying that the orders were from unidentified customers.
Boeing made the announcement during its press conference at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The US-based manufacturer also took the opportunity to introduce its new President.
Erika Pearson will take over the role from JD Detwiler, who sidesteps into a role in Boeing’s Defense, Space and Security division.
“It’s an honor to lead the BBJ team at such a dynamic time for business aviation, as we continue to show the outstanding capabilities of our luxurious, ultra-large cabin, long-range private jets, wrapped in the most capable commercial platforms.” Said Pearson.
Boeing is displaying one of its BBJ MAX 7 demonstrators at EBACE.
“With increased demand in private and business travel, BBJ 737 MAXs provide our VIP customers with exceptional fuel economics, reduced emissions and increased range to meet their specific requirements,” said Pearson.
