2021 was a Good Year for Pilatus

Pilatus recently announced its 2021 financial results. Across the year, 152 aircraft worth 1.3 billion Swiss Francs were delivered. The manufacturer also took in orders worth 1.7 billion Swiss Francs.

Overall, the Pilatus saw sales growth of 19%, and a 35% increase in operating revenue in 2021, with the government aviation sector being particularly strong. However, the company also reported that it was seeing supply chain disruptions, although these had not yet had too much effect on the company.

Markus Bucher, CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Pilatus said “Thanks to a great deal of hard work and flexibility, we achieved a very good result of which the entire crew may be justifiably proud. Demand for our products and services has rarely been so high. Meeting customer expectations despite unreliable supply chains and continuing deglobalization will, however, ensure our work remains challenging.”
