Private jet operator Thrive Aviation has taken delivery of its first long-range Gulfstream G600, bringing the size of its charter fleet to 14 aircraft.
Flight tracking data shows that the unit was delivered on November 4 and has already operated legs to Miami, West Palm Beach and Charlottesville.
The Las Vegas, Nevada-based company said the 13-seat aircraft “builds on our legacy of unparalleled luxury, safety and elevated experiences” and “will take our services to a new level.”
Thrive announced the G600 order in February, hailing it as the beginning of a “blossoming partnership with Gulfstream.” The aircraft was built at Gulfstream’s manufacturing facility in Savannah, Georgia and outfitted at its Dallas, Texas completions center. It will be serviced at Gulfstream’s Mesa Service Center in Arizona.
“We appreciate the confidence Thrive has placed in Gulfstream as they enter a new segment of their business with the G600,” commented Mark Burns, President, Gulfstream. “The G600 is expertly suited for Thrive’s mission and gives their customers new access to the latest in safety advancements and performance efficiencies along with the unparalleled Gulfstream Cabin Experience,” he said.
The G600 can cover distances up to 12,223 km at Mach 0.85 or 10,371 km at Mach 0.90, enabling it to connect far-flung city pairs such as Los Angeles-Shanghai or New York-Dubai.
