The Gulfstream G500 made its first appearance at the Aero Friedrichshafen airshow held from April 19 to 22 in Germany.
The G500 was one of the highlights of the Business Aviation section of the airshow, and attendees were able to view the aircraft up close.
“Germany continues to be an important market for us. We are making significant investments in this region with the help of regional vice president of sales Oliver Bergsch, who joined Gulfstream in 2022,” said Scott Neal, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Gulfstream.
The G500 entered service in September 2018 and has been built to increase fuel efficiency by more than 30 percent compared to its previous model. The company outfitted the aircraft with high-thrust engines and an aerodynamic wing, which are crucial to improve its efficiency and performance. The G500 can fly 4,500 nautical miles (8,334 km) at Mach 0.90 and has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.925.
