China Builds up Firefighting Capacity
China has ramped up its firefighting capacity and has plans to deploy over 6,000 firefighters…
Bell Textron signed a purchase agreement with Karen SA for two Bell 505.
The Bell 505s will be used for VIP and commercial flights and for the company’s pilot training courses.
Karen SA is a Switzerland-based company that provides business and training services for helicopters as well as Maintenance, Repair and Operation service.
“We are excited to begin operating the 505 and offer this aircraft to our customers,” said Luca Carlino, managing director, Karen SA. “The aircraft will modernize our fleet of Bell 206 aircraft. The Bell 505 provides excellent comfort and performance for passengers and pilots, along with modern avionics. We’d also like to thank Bell’s Independent Representative (IR), Centaurium Aviation. They were very supportive during the process of selection and evaluation of the aircraft.”
According to Asian Sky Media’s Helicopter Fleet Report 2021, Bell Textron is the second largest OEM in the Asian Pacific Region by the fleet.
