Lilium Gets Order for Six eVTOLs from ASL Group

Lilium has signed an agreement that will see the German eVTOL developer deliver six Lilium Pioneer Edition Jets to business jet operator ASL Group.

The agreement, which includes deposit payments made by ASL Group, is a conversion of an earlier Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between both parties during the Farnborough International Airshow in 2022. 

Upon receiving the aircraft from Lilium, ASL Group intends to use them to serve its customers by establishing a flight network that connects Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Western Germany. 

“Our company is constantly seeking new ways to operate responsibly and contribute to a healthy future, both socially and ecologically,” Philippe Bodson, owner and CEO of Benelux-based ASL Group, said. “The Lilium Jet is a great opportunity to provide better value to our customers in a sustainable way. With zero operating emissions, vertical take-off landing capability, and a spacious premium cabin, Lilium represents the best option on the market.”

Klaus Roewe, CEO of Lilium, expressed his gratitude to ASL Group for the order and is keen to see how Lilium’s eVTOL plays a role in the development of sustainable air travel in the Benelux region.

ASL Group is a truly innovative company with a vision to provide the best services for its customers,” he said. “With the highest population density in Europe, Benelux represents a perfect use case for the Lilium Jet, with its expected high aerodynamic performance and low noise profile. We are proud to support ASL’s development in the region.”

The agreement with ASL Group comes just a day after Lilium received an order for five Lilium Jets from Swiss private jet and helicopter company Air-Dynamic SA.
