Vertical Aerospace has joined a partnership dedicated to bringing electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) operations to Brazil.
The partnership includes leaders in aviation and airports such as Avolon, Corporación América Airports, GOL and more.
The companies aim to explore vertiport designs and locations, as well as eVTOL infrastructure requirements.
Each company brings its own specific expertise to the partnership.
“I’m delighted that Vertical is partnering with Avolon, GOL, Grupo Comporte and CAAP to deliver critical eVTOL infrastructure in Brazil. It was in Brazil that I had the inspiration to begin Vertical Aerospace so it is incredible to see it becoming a reality there,” says Stephen Fitzpatrick, Founder and CEO of Vertical.
Introducing eVTOLs to Brazil will make travel more efficient and sustainable.
