ExecuJet Breaks Ground on Building MRO Center in Subang, Malaysia

ExecuJet MRO Services Malaysia has started work on a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) center at Subang Airport, located in the nation’s capital of Kuala Lumpur, scheduled for completion by the end of 2023.

The 149,500-square-feet facility, which will include corporate offices, customer areas and back shops, hopes to will strengthen Malaysia’s position in providing MRO services for business jets. The new hangar and expanded apron area will be able to accommodate up to 15 aircraft in all sizes.

Ivan Lim, Regional Vice President of Asia, ExecuJet MRO Services, said the facility will come equipped with energy-efficient LED lights, rooftop solar panels, and rainwater collecting tanks, noting that the company’s plans to expand its hangar are in line with its corporate social responsibility commitments.

Malaysia-headquartered ExecuJet, a Dassault Aviation subsidiary, can send repair teams around the Asia-Pacific region. At a time when the business jet market is booming in countries such as Australia and New Zealand, ExecuJet has also invested in additional equipment and training, as well as new tooling devices in Australia.
