Chapman Freeborn Appoints UK General Manager

Charter company Chapman Freeborn has appointed James Edwards as General Manager – UK as part of the company’s expansion plan.

Edwards, who worked with airlines with experience in commercial flight training, airline revenue growth and MRO, will support Chapman Freeborn’s growth plans for the UK across all products and verticals.

“The UK teams and people are very important for the success of the organization and therefore need dedicated leadership and management,” said Reto Hunziker, President – Europe.

Avia Solutions Group acquired Chapman Freeborn in 2019 and since then the charter company has been constantly looking for opportunities to expand businesses globally.

“I am looking forward to drawing upon a blank canvas as I take on this new role. Whilst increasing our revenue year-on-year will always be a target, it is equally important to focus on recruitment and retainment,” Edwards said.
