Bluetail, an aircraft records platform for business aviation, has launched its onsite scanning network using crowdsourcing as its expanding customer base is driving demand.
A crowdsourcing portal is also operational in providing opportunities for experienced A&P technicians, aircraft records specialists and aviation techies who want to travel to customer locations and provide on-site logbook scanning services.
“With the unprecedented growth of business aircraft usage, our ever-expanding customer base requires that their aircraft logbooks and related records be digitized as quickly, efficiently, and with the greatest degree of security as possible,” said Roy Gioconda, vice president, Bluetail.
The launch of the community allows individuals to become registered contractors and take onsite scanning projects.
The company, which has been building the network since March, has successfully scanned nearly 100 jobs onsite at customer locations.
