Atlantic Aviation Improves Fort Lauderdale and Nashville FBOs

Atlantic Aviation has been improving its FBO in Nashville, and its new facility in Florida is completed. The new development at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, Florida includes a new 7,000 sq ft terminal building as well as over four acres of ramp space.

The Florida facility replaces Atlantic Aviation’s older terminal and hangars, which will now be used to provide additional capacity for its customers based at the airport. Further phases of development at the Fort Lauderdale facility are still being finalized, but it is anticipated that the next phase will include the addition of community hangars.

“From absolute first-class décor to high-tech conference rooms and compelling crew services, no detail has been overlooked,” said Kurt Schmidt, Senior Vice President of Operations in Southeast Region, Atlantic Aviation.

Atlantic Aviation has also been improving its FBO at Nashville International Airport, Tennessee. The expansion project spans 24.5 acres and includes a new 12,000 sq ft terminal, a new 30,000 sq ft hangar as well as an expanded ramp area with a larger fuel farm.

The Nashville terminal will feature high-quality materials, a technology-equipped business center, a VIP lounge, a café, a crew lounge and shower area, and an expanded training area. It is expected that the expansion will be completed by the end of the year.
