Nomad Aviation Adds Five Aircraft in 2022

Aircraft management and charter company Nomad Aviation added five large cabin and ultra-long range business jets to its managed fleet in 2022, including two Gulfstream G550s, a Gulfstream V, a Bombardier Global XRS and a Dassault Falcon 8X.

The aircraft joined the Switzerland-headquartered company’s existing fleet which consists of a Gulfstream G450, a Bombardier Global 5000 and an Airbus ACJ319.

“We are delighted that we have been able to further expand our fleet of managed aircraft, especially in the ultra-long range segment. A corporate or private jet is that kind of asset that has seen more and more owners entrust the management to Nomad Aviation for a wide range of benefits, maximized flexibility and efficiency,” said Thomas Köhli, CEO, Nomad Aviation.

In 2022, a privately operated Bombardier Global 5000 was added to Nomad Aviation’s Swiss AOC. The aircraft is based in Central Europe.

Christoph Thurnherr, Vice President for Aircraft Management and Sales, said: While the charter market was already flourishing in 2021 as it experienced a massive increase in demand after the Covid-19 crisis, this increase has definitely not stagnated in 2022. We are very pleased to see how the market continued to grow throughout 2022. The addition of the Bombardier Global 5000 to our AOC certainly came at the right time.
