Archer Aviation has partnered with Honeywell for flight control actuation and thermal management technologies for its aircraft.
Flight control and actuators are important as Archer’s aircraft will be flying in dense urban environments. It will also help provide a better cabin experience for passengers.
“Honeywell’s position as an established leader in delivering advanced aerospace technologies will be critical to us delivering on our goal of certifying our production aircraft in 2024. It is evident to us that Honeywell shares our belief that the key to commercializing eVTOL aircraft is working with leading aerospace suppliers to ensure that we can deliver as safe an aircraft as possible,” says Adam Goldstein, Archer’s CEO.
FACC recently agreed to supply key wing and fuselage elements for Archer’s aircraft.
