Embraer Executive Aircraft’s backlog increased by 16% during the second quarter of 2022, despite supply chain issues causing a slowdown in commercial aircraft deliveries.
Antonio Garcia, Embraer’s Chief Financial Officer, said during the company’s second-quarter conference call that although it is facing some very challenging supply chain issues, it is confident that it will still meet its delivery guidance for the year.
So far the supply chain issues have had minor effect on several commercial aircraft deliveries, however, deliveries of executive jets remain on track.
During the quarter, Embraer delivered a total of 21 business jets, including 12 small, and nine large jets, an increase of one aircraft over the same period in 2021.
