EHang and C.P. Group Collaborate on UAM

EHang has partnered with Charoen Pokphand Group (C.P. Group) to form a new joint venture.

The joint venture aims to develop autonomous aerial vehicle (AAV) sales and operations in Thailand. It will also introduce safe and sustainable air mobility technology to the country and other overseas markets.

EHang’s electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicles can be used for aerial sightseeing, cargo transportation, air taxi flights, and more.

“We will work with C.P. Group, who has a wealth of comprehensive business strengths in their local markets, on extensive and sustainable cooperation in various fields, to take the lead in bringing safe, autonomous and eco-friendly air mobility to Thai industries and societies,” says Huazhi Hu, EHang’s Founder, Chairman and CEO.

The companies expect the collaboration will create value and opportunities in a variety of industries.

EHang previously received 100 orders of its EH216 AAV from Prestige Aviation.
