Brazil’s ANAC certifies GMPS Foresight MX STC

Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) has certificated a new supplemental type certificate (STC) allowing GPMS’s Foresight MX to be retrofitted onto Airbus H125 and AS350 B3 helicopters.

GPMS manufactures advanced health and monitoring systems that are used on a variety of different helicopters.

The company was assisted by Helisul Aviation, which performed the first Brazilian installation and was part of the certification process.

“We are excited to have worked with a great partner like Helisul to achieve this certification,” said Todd Powers, VP and Head of Sales, GMPS. “Thanks to their help, H125 operators in Brazil can now install and utilize Foresight’s comprehensive and predictive HUMS capabilities.”

GPMS made the announcement during the Latin America Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (LABACE) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“Brazil has a large number of H125/AS350 operators and this STC is a great first step to bringing our advanced Foresight HUMS system to operators in Brazil and throughout South America,” said Powers.
