Meghna Aviation Ltd. of Bangladesh has signed an order contract for one Bell 505 and one Bell 407GXi helicopter.
Meghna Aviation was established in 2011 and is part of the Bangladesh integrated group MGI (Meghna Group of Industries). After the delivery of the new aircraft, Meghna Aviation will have four Bell helicopters, mainly serving the group’s business and leisure travel and charter business.
Jacinto Monge, Managing Director of Bell Asia Pacific, said the upcoming deliveries of Bell 505 and Bell 407GXi would further support the business development of MGI Group, and that Bell appreciates MGI for its long-term trust in Bell Helicopters.
According to Asian Sky Group’s latest Asia-Pacific Civil Helicopters Fleet Report, Bell is the second largest Helicopter OEM in the the region, with a market share of 28%.
