MedAire Introduces New Aviation Safety Management Feature

MedAire, an aviation medical and security intelligence provider, introduced a new feature to its MedAire360 Portal at this week’s National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition Show that can give alerts and safety advice based on a crew’s location.

The function, called Crew Check, allows operators to send crew member details and information to MedAire directly if assistance is needed.

“We understand how important crew safety is to business aviation operators today. The Crew Check feature will identify threats that may affect your crew anywhere in the world in a timely manner and add a layer of security that could be vital in a crisis situation,” said Bill Dolny, Chief Executive Officer, MedAire Worldwide.

The company providing integrated travel risk management to the aviation industry is also offering user-friendly medical and security information through a catalog of Application Program Interfaces, which helps clients plan and respond to possible threats without the need to log into another platform.
