TAG Aviation has added its first Global 5500 to its growing charter fleet.
Based at Farnborough Airport in the UK, TAG says that it is the first Global 5500 to be based in the UK, and only the third to be based in Europe.
The management and charter company says that the Global 5500 can carry up to 12 passengers and features six beds. It has a maximum range of between 4800-5500 nautical miles, meaning that it can fly for up to 11 hours non-stop.
“The owners of 9H-MAS have been a long-term charter client of TAG and over that period, I’m pleased to say that we have become the client’s trusted aviation advisor. When they decided to transition to ownership, TAG’s substantial resources and trusted third party network ensured a smooth, efficient and stress-free purchase experience all the way down the line.” said Karl Mills, Chief Commercial Officer, TAG Aviation.
Officially registered to TAG Malta, Global 5500 9H-MAS / 60064 arrived in Malta on June 6th on delivery from Bombardier’s Montreal manufacturing facility.
According to data from flight tracking website FlightRadar24.com, the aircraft flew the next day to the Isle of Man, before arriving at Farnborough to be based.
