The Rotorcraft Asia and Unmanned Systems Asia (RCA-UMSA) is set to return to Singapore’s Changi Exhibition Centre, where Asian Sky Group will be co-organizing the conference portion of the event.
The RCA-UMSA, to be held from May 3-5, 2023, is the only rotorcraft and unmanned systems event in Asia. As well as the conference co-organized by Asian Sky Group, a full exhibition will showcase the latest innovations in the sector, offering a glimpse into the future of mobility across air, land, and sea. The three-day event is expected to attract a wide range of industry professionals, government officials, and researchers.
For the conference, Asian Sky Group will curate discussions from speakers that it has invited from around the world for each of the panel sessions during the Mobility Forum.
“I’m very excited about bringing together some of the biggest names in the AAM, Helicopter, and UAV fields for panel discussions in the Mobility Forum. The sessions are designed to take a deep dive into current and future activities of the industry as well as explore how they will compete and work together,” said Tan Rahman, Managing Director, Asian Sky Group.
The Mobility Forum includes speakers from Aerodyne Group, Airbus Helicopters, Asian Sky Group, Bell Flight, DHL Innovation Center, EHang, Eve Air Mobility, Heron Airbridge, Moviation Inc, Nanyang Technological University – eVTOL Research & Innovation Centre, Reed Smith, Rolls Royce, SkyDrive, Skyports, Skyports Drone Services, Spectrum Aeromed, ST Engineering, Vertical Aerospace, Volocopter and Weststar Aviation.
“Collaboration is key for success at trade events, and we appreciate Asian Sky Group’s partnership to drive relevant conversations that will pique ideas for advances in air mobility and propel progress in the industry,” said Leck Chet Lam, Managing Director of Experia, the organizer of RCA-UMSA 2023.
Rahman stressed the rapid technological advances being made in air mobility. As type certification and regulatory standards are expected to be in place in major urban areas within the next few years, he said it’s great to be organizing the biggest rotorcraft and unmanned systems conference in Asia so far.
The RCA-UMSA will be held concurrently with IMDEX Asia 2023. The previous edition of RCA-UMSA was held in 2019 and was held in conjunction with the 7th World Civil Aviation Chief Executives Forum.
