VistaJet has experienced remarkable growth in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, with Japan emerging as a pivotal market.
VistaJet’s network connects Japanese clients to international hubs like Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, and Beijing, as well as domestic routes between Tokyo’s Haneda, Hokkaido’s New Chitose, and Nagoya’s Chubu Centrair Airports. Long-haul destinations such as Los Angeles and San Francisco also rank among the top 20 departure points from Japan, highlighting the increasing demand for global connectivity.
Recent statistics highlight the company’s impressive performance, which showcases significant increases in flight activity and program memberships. VistaJet’s private flight hours in the APAC area increased by 14 percent, with a notable ten percent increase in Japan. The number of flights in the region surged by 20 percent, Japan specifically saw a 25 percent rise. In the same period, VistaJet’s program memberships jumped by 15 percent across APAC, and jumped by 400 percent in Japan.
The milestone year saw VistaJet’s showcasing its flagship Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft in a static display in an exclusive event at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport. VistaJet operates the world’s largest fleet of Global 7500 aircraft, which are capable of flying non-stop for up to 17 hours while offering luxurious comfort, which makes the aircraft a popular choice among high-profile clients.
“Japan represents a dynamic and evolving market for private aviation and we’re proud to be leading the way with an asset-free solution that redefines business and luxury travel.” says Ian Moore, Chief Commercial Officer at VistaJet. “The Global 7500 is a particularly popular aircraft type for the region, for its comfort and capability for point-to-point transatlantic travel — especially with big corporations. We are pleased to have the opportunity to showcase the exceptional experience we provide, combining state-of-the-art technology with unmatched service. We’re excited to bring this unparalleled jet to all travellers in Japan.”
VistaJet’s milestone year was capped off by the operator winning the “Best AOC Charter Operator” for the sixth consecutive time at the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) Icons of Aviation Awards.
