NHV Awarded Five-year Contract in Ivory Coast

NHV Côte d’Ivoire SA has been awarded a five-year contract to provide helicopter services for CNR International Côte d’Ivoire SARL’s offshore operations in Ivory Coast. 

Under the contract, which came into effect on June 1, 2023, NHV will be responsible for supporting CNR’s operations at both the Espoir and Baobab fields. These services include scheduled crew changes, passenger and cargo transportation, unscheduled ad hoc flights, and emergency coverage.

NHV will utilize two Leonardo AW169 helicopters instead of the previously utilized Dauphin N3. Specifically designed for offshore operations, the AW169s will enable NHV to offer safe and dependable transportation services to CNR’s offshore activities in Ivory Coast.

Agathe Dona-Fologo, NHV Côte d’Ivoire Managing Director, is thrilled that NHV earned another five-year contract as the company has provided helicopter services for CNR in Ivory Coast for nearly a decade. 

“NHV has been delivering helicopter services in Côte d’Ivoire for CNR since 2014 and we are delighted to continue to provide them with our helicopter services according to their needs. This is the third type of helicopter we have provided to them,” Dona-Fologo said. “Our team is dedicated to providing safe and reliable transportation to our clients, and we look forward to supporting CNR’s offshore operations in Abidjan for the next five plus years!”

The new deal in Ivory Coast is the latest triumph for NHV as the company’s Denmark-based arm signed a contract with TotalEnergies EP Denmark to provide offshore operational support in the Danish sector of the North Sea.
