Mecaer to Supply Archer with Landing Gear

Aeronautical company Mecaer Aviation Group has entered into an agreement with eVTOL maker Archer Aviation for the design, development, qualification and supply of a landing gear for Archer’s five-seater eVTOL, Midnight.

Mecaer’s design expertise and production experience were key deciding factors in Archer’s decision, according a press release issued by Mecaer.

Archer Aviation hopes to enable conventional and vertical take-off and landing at a high utilization frequency and low maintenance cost through the partnership.

The collaboration adds another high-profile customer to Mecaer’s growing portfolio, which comprises of original equipment manufacturers and industrial groups that supply products in the aerospace and defense industry.
