Asia-Pacific Region Charter Report – 2023

  • Overall, the Asia-Pacific charter fleet saw a slight decrease in the year to the end of June 2023, standing at 296 business jets – a 1.7% dip from the previous year.
  • With an average age of 15.6 years, 73% of the charter fleet is more ten years old, with more than 24% exceeding 20 years of age.
  • Northeast Asia had the highest growth rate, with its 25 aircraft representing a jump of 25% over the previous year. Greater China had the steepest decline, falling by 21.1% from the previous year.
  • Bombardier and Textron were the leading OEMs, each having 29% of the total charter fleet in the region. TAG Aviation, Phenix Jet, and Australian Corporate Jet Centres (ACJC) emerged as the top operators, all having a fleet of more than ten charter aircraft.
