LCI has ordered up to six H175 super-medium helicopters from Airbus. The helicopters are valued at over US$125 million.
The first two H157 helicopters are to be delivered to LCI in late 2023, a further four options are included in the agreement.
“The Airbus H175 is a versatile, multi-purpose helicopter and this order will help to maintain the breadth of LCI’s product offering. This latest chapter in our partnership is an important element of LCI’s long-term growth strategy, and demonstrates our confidence in the helicopter leasing market,” states Jaspal Jandu, LCI’s CEO.
LCI’s current fleet includes over 50 Airbus helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.
LCI recently acquired 19 helicopters from Lobo Leasing.
